Column predefined filters

Predefined filters should include Blank (empty) and Non-Blank (not-empty) fields as a selection. That would take out the guess work of what characters are/aren't present in the field. Currently in order to get the empty field records in a text column you have to choose < "less than" or "less than or equal to" plus " " space to get the empty ones. If there is other "direct" form to get the empty or non-empty records please let me know. Same thing in the drop-down lists and calendar fields; no blank and non-blank field options, it is more difficult to get a work around on this ones.
