Notification Panel - Tasks, Status Changes on Deals or Projects

Link to Windows Notification panel where you can see eWay notifications as well.

Or

Have a window where a list of updates, like tasks you have assigned, or deals/projects that you are on are listed. Instead of getting an email notification, have a window that lists them, or a notification list in the eWay icon.

Alternative to emails, so that the mailbox is less cluttered with updates.

I'm onboard with this one. I always think of the Windows Notification Center as a bother, something intrusive. "Yes! I know I didn't set up my firewall completely!" (I think that of most notifications on my iphone as well...). But if there was a way to see truly valuable information, to be notified when a Deal reaches a decision date, or a Task is overdue, then it might become an assistance and not an interruption.
