Separate "Journal" for Marketing Module

Right now, every time I send a Marketing email the system automatically creates multiple journal entries for every intended recipient, which is great for keeping on top of analytics, but it makes the journal module a night mare to manage. I currently have 4400+ journal items, only 6 of those are not Marketing Email journals.
It would be great to have a separate marketing journal just for marketing, so that those journal entries don't clutter up the current Journal module. The current Journal module should be set aside specifically for notes pertaining to our calls, meetings, clients, etc.
