Alphabet sorting for Custom Fields value list

When I add new values to the list of values of the custom field i added, I need to manually move each value up and down to manually sort the list which will be presented in the drop down field to the users. I would be very convenient to check an option which will automatically present users with the list of alphabetically sorted items
