Create a new timesheet just by entering the number of hours spent

Now, if I want to create a new timesheet, I have to enter start and end time. I would like to enter just the number of hours spent.

we usually adding our time sheet with the exactly hour spent, it's unnecessary to have start time and end time on the time sheet.

I would like to be able to add a start time without having to roll around with that crazy clock mechanism. And I'd like a 12 hr option.

To accurately document "Start / Stop" time - there must be a data source somewhere? I prefer using a journal since it is available on my mobile phone or tablet, and it sets the "Start" time from my device when it is created - a great system for mobile users. I make notes as needed and "Save" the Journal - but leave it open to reset the "End" time when the task / phone call / meeting is finished.
